Registration

All participants in the AMA Global Marketing SIG Conference in Taormina have to be members of the American Marketing Association and the Global Marketing Special Interest Group. If you are not currently an AMA and Global Marketing SIG member, you will have to become one while registering for the Conference or the Doctoral Consortium. AMA academic and student members can now add multiple SIGs to their AMA membership FOR FREE! If you are currently an AMA and Global Marketing SIG member, but your membership expires before October 1, 2021, then you will have to renew your membership while or before you register for the Conference. The AMA online payment system provides a number of registration options and allows you to pay for your membership along with your Conference registration fees.

Conference Fees

Conference - $550.00 Early Bird, August 1-31, 2021

Conference - $640.00 Late Registration, September 1-30, 2021

Doctoral Consortium - $345.00 Early Bird, August 1-31, 2021

Doctoral Consortium - $450.00 Late Registration, September 1-30, 2021

The conference registration fee includes:

 

  • Welcome Reception on October 1, 2021

  • Admittance to all scientific sessions of the Conference

  • Conference documentation

  • Certificate of attendance

  • Coffee breaks and lunches during the Conference

  • Conference gala dinner on October 3, 2021

 

Accompanying persons can join the welcome reception on October 1, 2021, and the Gala dinner on October 3, 2021, with a $130 fee. The fee does not include access to scientific sessions, coffee breaks, and lunches during the conference. The fee will be payable via the online registration platform, alternatively, this can be paid in cash at the registration desk, cash payments should be made on October 1, 2021.

AMA Conference Cancellation Policy

You may cancel your registration at any time by emailing customersupport@ama.org​ or calling 800-AMA-1150 or 312-542-9000. Cancellations received more than 30 days prior to the start of the event will receive a 100% refund. Cancellations received 7 to 30 days prior to the start of the event will receive a 50% refund. No refunds will be provided for cancellations received less than 7 days prior to the event. No refunds will be issued after the event.
